Flattering new oak aromas of hazelnut, with a little vanilla, quite Bordeaux-like in style, yet not disguising the yellow pepper and mint hallmarks of Sauvignon Blanc. The creamy yet muscular fruit on the palate is able to cope well with the still dominant oak. Structured and balanced with that typical Sauvignon citric acidity and tightness of fruit plus a touch of phenolics from the oak. Long, lean and structured. A complex wine which opens up beautifully in the glass. Potential of 2-6 years. 92
Schmeichelhafte Aromen von Haselnuss und etwas Vanille von neuem Holz, wie ein weißer Bordeaux vom Stil her, ohne dass die kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Sauvignon Blancs – gelber Paprika und Minze – verdeckt werden. Die cremige und doch muskulöse Frucht am Gaumen kann gut mit der immer noch dominanten Eiche umgehen. Strukturiert und ausgewogen, mit der für den Sauvignon typischen Zitronensäure und straffer Frucht sowie einem Hauch Holz-Phenolik. Lang, engmaschig und strukturiert. Unadorned and honest, this pale lemon Weissburgunder is a tingling, fresh, mouth-watering wine for everyday. Pure aromas of pear, quince, green banana and white blossom with a little touch of apple cider on the nose. Juicy, light and fresh as a daisy with a slightly salty, mineral finish. This is a racy style of Weissburgunder, which is both playful and refreshing to drink. 89

Medium gold in colour. Very ripe fruit with lots of pineapple, baked Bramley apple and tropical fruit character as well as a little honey. Broad and fulsome, with high alcohol and ample, sweet, open fruit and yet crisp acidity to waken up the taste buds. Smooth and succulent texture. Very forward in a „drink me now“ style. Uncomplicated, easy-going and very approachable. 89
Mittleres Goldgelb. Sehr reife Frucht mit viel Ananas, Bratapfel und tropischen Fruchtaromen sowie etwas Honig. Gut gebaut am Gaumen, mit hohem Alkohol und reichlich süßer, offener Frucht und dennoch knackiger Säure, um die Geschmacksknospen zu wecken. Geschmeidige und saftige Textur. Sehr direkt im Stil von „trink mich jetzt“. Unkompliziert, leicht und sehr zugänglich. 89
